The Baltimore Ravens might be looking for the Guinness Book, but they are already registered in the NFL history book. In 1958, the Baltimore Colts/Ravens won the real epic Championship game ever, commonly known as “The Greatest Game Ever Played.” Later an emotionally charged victory, the first Super Bowl XXXV victory for the Ravens, and then, after 12 long years, another Super Bowl, XLVII, in 2013. All these amazing moments happened and were recorded as a golden time in the Ravens’ history. But the one we are talking about has still never happened, and no NFL fan has witnessed it yet.

Revealing the suspense, the Baltimore Ravens have an all-Black quarterback group along with coaches, believed to be the first time in NFL history. This is happening in the era of Lamar Jackson and his partner in crime, Odell Beckham Jr. They are lucky enough to share in this historic feat of 2023.

There have been relatively few starting Black quarterbacks in NFL history, but the Ravens’ group is a step forward for Black players and coaches. The group includes quarterbacks Tyler Huntley and Lamar Jackson, as well as Anthony Brown, an assistant quarterback, and a 37 YO Josh Johnson. Coincidentally, the group is led by two Black coaches: Coach Kerry Dixon and quarterbacks Coach Tee Martin.
HISTORY: The Baltimore #Ravens quarterback group is entirely black, with 4 Black quarterbacks and two coaches.
This is believed to be the first all black QB room in #NFL history.

A finger-counting number of days to the NFL kickoff remains. However, the Ravens are charging from the ongoing preseason itself. They defeated last year’s runner-up, the Eagles, in the opener. Now, they are on their way to face a newly built Commanders team on August 22 and will finish the preseason streak against the Buccaneers on August 27.
